The Amman Chamber of Industry extends its warmest regards and would like to inform you that the Standards and Metrology Organization has decided to reform the "Permanent Technical Committee for Shelf Life and Labeling" to assess the needs of this sector in terms of issuing and amending Jordanian standards. The responsibilities of this committee are outlined in the attached document.
Accordingly, you are kindly requested to nominate a representative from your side who meets the following qualifications:
Holds a university degree in food manufacturing or food technology.
Has at least three years of experience in this sector.
Is familiar with the organization’s general policies, given the significant impact of this sector’s standards on the national economy, and has the authority to make decisions.
Is committed to attending committee meetings and actively participating in the preparation and review of draft standards.
Agrees to provide the Chamber with periodic reports on their participation in the committee’s work and the decisions made.
