Amman Chamber of Industry sends you its warmest greetings and would like to inform you that the Standards and Metrology Institute has decided to restructure the "Permanent Technical Committee for the Paper and Cardboard Sector" with the aim of studying the needs of this sector in terms of issuing and amending Jordanian standard specifications - with the tasks and work plan detailed in the attached document.
Accordingly, we kindly request that you nominate a representative who meets the following conditions:
Holds a university degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or any specialty related to the committee's work field.
Has at least three years of experience in this sector.
Is familiar with the institution's general policy regarding the specifications of this sector and its impact on the national economy ,and has the authority to make decisions.
Commits to the committee's work times and actively participates in preparing and studying specification projects.
Commits to providing the Chamber with periodic reports on their participation in the committee's work and the decisions made.
We also request that you provide us with the CV of the nominated representative (including mobile phone number and personal email).
We kindly ask that you send your response to the email rose.smadi@aci.org.jo no later than 12/12/2024, so we can follow up on the procedures for nominating your representative and inviting them to relevant meetings by the Standards and Metrology Institute.
