The Amman Chamber of Industry extends its best regards and would like to inform you that the Jordan Standards and Metrology Organization has decided to reform the "Permanent Technical Committee for the Electrical Equipment Sector and Electrical Devices for Generation, Transmission, and Distribution Systems." This is aimed at addressing the needs of this sector, specifically in issuing and amending Jordanian standards, with the tasks and work plan detailed in the attached document.
In this regard, we kindly request you to nominate a representative from your company who meets the following criteria:
Holds a university degree in electrical engineering.
Has a minimum of three years of experience in this sector.
Is familiar with the organization's general policy, especially in relation to the standards affecting the national economy, and is authorized to make decisions.
Commits to the committee's working hours and actively participates in preparing and reviewing standards projects.
Provides the chamber with periodic reports on the committee’s work and the decisions made.
Please provide us with the nominated representative’s CV, including their mobile phone number and email address.
We kindly ask you to send your response to the email address rose.smadi@aci.org.jo by no later than 12/9/2024, so we can proceed with the nomination process and arrange for the representative to be invited by the Jordan Standards and Metrology Organization to attend the relevant meetings.
