The Amman Chamber of Industry extends its best greetings to you and wishes to inform you that the Standards and Metrology Organization has decided to restructure the "Permanent Technical Committee for the Sugar and Sugar Products Sector". This is aimed at studying the needs of this sector in terms of issuing and amending Jordanian standard specifications. The tasks and work plan are outlined in the attachment.
Accordingly, please kindly nominate a representative from your side who meets the following conditions:
Holds a first university degree in Nutrition and Food Manufacturing/Food Technology.
Has at least three years of experience in this sector.
Is familiar with the general policy of the organization, given the impact of this sector's specifications on the national economy, and has the authority to make decisions.
Commits to the committee's working hours and actively participates in preparing and studying specification projects.
Commits to providing the Chamber with monthly reports on their participation in the committee's work and the decisions taken.
We also request that you provide us with the CV of your nominated representative (including their mobile number and email address).
Please send your response to the email rose.smadi@aci.org.jo by August 11, 2024 at the latest, so that we can follow up on the procedures for nominating your representative to the mentioned committee and invite them from the Standards and Metrology Organization to attend relevant meetings.
